Organization Guidelines
How we operate within.
Why we care.
The Organization Guidelines are meant to help grow & maintain the organization by directly benefiting each member.
01 No Business Exchanged in Meetings.
This rule is meant to keep the focus off handing out business cards, and on the topic at hand which has been cultivated to benefit industries across the board. We are a community above all.
02 Attendance must be +66.6%.
The ABN is meant to be a small chapter, between 12-24 members, and without attendance the benefits of cross-polinating ideas and strategies is weakened. If attendance is below 66.6% at the end of the year, your chair will be immediately open for alternative members to apply for.
03 Honor the Aggie Core Values in all conversations.
The ABN is meant to have real, intentional conversations oftentimes with different and conflicting opinions on how to operate. Conduct yourself with the Aggie Core values in-mind, and treat everyone with respect.
04 Serve first, receive second.
Service is a major focus at the ABN, and focusing on how to squeeze members for sales or referrals is one of the easiest ways to be removed from the organization. This is a community, built through caring for each other and looking for ways to help others grow.
